All Kneipp bath crystals contain a high proportion of naturally pure thermal brine salt. It comes from the only remaining pan salt works in Europe. The thermal brine is extracted in the salt works in Luisenhall. It accumulates at a depth of 460 metres from the salt deposits of a 250-million-year-old primeval sea.
