Hygienic brush cleaning to remove make-up and other dirt

Clinique brushes have fine, soft hairs for perfect make-up application. After use, the Brush Cleanser thoroughly removes particles from the brush hairs. Just like human hair, they are nourished at the same time, keeping them supple and in shape. Thanks to the clean, smooth surface, dirt does not adhere during storage between daily routines. An optimum standard of hygiene is guaranteed during monthly cleaning. Clinique's brush cleaner is suitable for cleaning fine make-up brushes or wide blusher and shaving brushes. While daily rinsing only removes the textures superficially, the Brush Cleanser should also be used at least once a month by rubbing the base of the brush. This reliably dissolves possible adhesions and maintains or restores dimensional stability. This also extends the life of the brush hairs or bristles. For quick and hygienic results in between uses, the cleaning effect is already achieved if the brushes are placed in a glass filled with cleaner for a while and rinsed with clear water before the next use.

Brush cleaners are available as cleaning water, soap or cleaning gel and can be used with or without a cleansing pad. The application of the individual products differs only slightly.
Apply the cleansing gel directly to the moistened brush head and massage it carefully into the brush hairs. Then rinse the brush thoroughly with warm water and dab the brush head dry with a towel. The brush head should be left to air dry freely over one edge. If you are using a cleaning soap, rub the brush over the bar of soap until lather forms. Then wash the soap and brush thoroughly with warm water.
Cleaning is even easier with a cleansing pad. Moisten the brush hair, add soap or brush cleaner and lather it up. Then run the brush over the pad. After washing out and dabbing with a towel, the brush should be left to air dry.
The easiest way to clean the brush is with cleaning water. Apply a generous amount of the product to a tissue and wipe the brush thoroughly. You can repeat the process if the brush is very dirty. The cleansing water does not usually need to be rinsed out and you can leave the brush to air dry immediately.
