Paul Mitchell founded the Paul Mitchell label in 1980 with John Paul DeJoria to revolutionise the hair scene with Hawaiian ginger. Mitchell was famous for his unique talent as a hairdresser, and his cuts and styles inspired the fashion world.

Just nine years after founding his hair brand Paul Mitchell died of cancer but his visions and his passion for high quality hair products live on in the brand. The label is still run by co-founder John Paul DeJoria, his daughter and Mitchell’s son.
