Manic Panic Amplified Rock 'n' Roll Red – long-lasting vegan hair colour

This vibrant shade adds a warm red tone to the hair, with subtle pink and violet undertones. As part of the Amplified™ range, this semi-permanent colour cream offers extended longevity, which can last up to 30 per cent longer than the Classic High Voltage range. The formula is entirely vegan and cruelty-free, and is deliberately free from PPD, parabens, ammonia, resorcinol, phthalates and gluten. As the cream is ready to use, there is no need to mix it with peroxide, making the application process straightforward. At the same time, the formulation helps to ensure that the hair feels supple during the colouring process. For the most intense colour results, we recommend using it on pre-bleached hair from level 8 onwards, whilst on darker base tones, a deep, subtle sheen may develop depending on the light. The resealable tin makes it easy to store any remaining product for later touch-ups.

Before applying a hair tint, moisten your hair and then lightly towel-dry it. Then put on the gloves that come with the tint and apply the paste to your fingers. The hair colour is then worked in from the roots to the ends. You can spread the colour through your hair with your fingers or with a comb. The result is more even if the colour is distributed with a comb. The colour remains in the hair for around 20 to 30 minutes to achieve the desired result. The hair is then rinsed until clear water can be seen. After tinting, the hair is not washed for 24 to 48 hours.
