Behind the striking phrase ‘Wooden Chips’ on the black-and-gold label lies a unique artisanal feature that gives this fragrance its unmistakable identity. During the development process, perfumer Zarko Ahlmann Pavlov opted for traditional ageing in wooden barrels, which were additionally enriched with shavings of precious agarwood. This process gives the composition a complex, organic structure whilst retaining the Nordic transparency characteristic of the brand. The olfactory experience opens with a surprisingly light burst of zesty mandarin, which immediately conveys a crisp freshness. This blends seamlessly into the heart notes, where the intense Turkish rose absolute contributes a floral yet understated elegance. The rich base notes of earthy patchouli and the dark accents of black agarwood provide an intriguing contrast to this light opening. As a molecular Eau de Parfum, the creation is designed to form a symbiosis with one’s own body odour, allowing the fragrance to unfold uniquely on every skin type. Visually, the simple glass bottle with its golden cap and pale yellow liquid emphasises the premium character of this unisex fragrance.

In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
