Vetiver reminds me of a rather classic type that exudes a sophisticated, masculine elegance. In the opening of Tom Ford Grey Vetiver, vetiver presents itself from a surprisingly fresh side. Zesty grapefruit extracts and orange notes reinforce this impression. Aromatic sage and spicy woody notes also bring out the masculine side of vetiver, while iris root extract reveals an unexpected sensuality at the heart of the fragrance. Spicy accents of nutmeg and pepper further emphasise this and lend the predominant vetiver note a new, exciting energy.

In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
