A permanent colour that works entirely without ammonia is presented by Schwarzkopf Professional with Igora Zero AmmReds Permanent Color Creme. At the heart of the formulation is the so-called phytolipid technology, which is based on a combination of micronised oils. Ingredients such as grape seed oil and apricot kernel oil, which are naturally rich in omega-9 fatty acids, are used. This special composition aims to support an even distribution of the colour pigments from the roots to the tips and can therefore contribute to long-lasting colour intensity. The colour cream enables true-to-tone results and offers a white lamination of up to 100 percent. Lightening by up to three levels can also be realised with the corresponding 10-series. Monoethanolamine (MEA) is used as a functional alternative to ammonia, which allows an almost odourless colouring process as no artificial fragrances are used. The formula is vegan, contains no silicones and replaces the manufacturer's previous Essensity line.

Before applying a hair tint, moisten your hair and then lightly towel-dry it. Then put on the gloves that come with the tint and apply the paste to your fingers. The hair colour is then worked in from the roots to the ends. You can spread the colour through your hair with your fingers or with a comb. The result is more even if the colour is distributed with a comb. The colour remains in the hair for around 20 to 30 minutes to achieve the desired result. The hair is then rinsed until clear water can be seen. After tinting, the hair is not washed for 24 to 48 hours.
