To mark the 10th anniversary of the Leder 6 fragrance, J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin is presenting an intense reinterpretation: Leder 6.9 Extrait de Parfum. As a highly concentrated extrait de parfum, it unfolds a remarkable longevity. At the centre of the composition is a striking leather accord, which is introduced by the spicy note of saffron in the top note. The heart note develops a soft warmth through a combination of cocoa, davana, patchouli and vanilla. The fragrance experience is rounded off by a deep base of smoky, woody notes such as cedar, incense and guaiac wood. The design of the bottle also reflects the character of the fragrance: a classic glass bottle is combined with a handmade brass cap and a cowhide leather label bearing the Berlin brand's logo.

For a long-lasting fragrance effect, spray 2 to 4 puffs directly onto the skin from a distance of approx. 15-20 cm. The body temperature helps the fragrance to develop optimally. In addition, perfume also lasts much longer on the skin as the fragrance molecules attach themselves to the so-called lipids, i.e. the fatty substances in the skin. If you have dry skin, it is also worth applying a rich lotion beforehand so that your favourite perfume lasts even longer.

Warm areas of the body and pulse points such as the inside of the wrists, on the neck, between the breasts or behind the earlobes should be favoured. In winter, the décolleté for women and the collarbone for men are the best places to apply the perfume.

A key factor is to apply the perfume at the right time: ideally directly after a shower. The pores are open and optimally absorb the fragrance.

Caution: Perfume should never be rubbed onto the skin, as this destroys the fragrance molecules. Avoid contact with eyes, ears and mucous membranes.

The basis for all tips is the correct storage location. Store the bottle in a dry, cool and dark place. The bedroom wardrobe is predestined for this. In the bathroom, on the other hand, products lose their fragrance intensity more quickly due to constant temperature fluctuations. Sunlight is also an odour killer in the long term.
