The return to a familiar place after a long journey forms the thematic basis for this complex fragrance creation from Tiziana Terenzi. With Al Contrario, Paolo Terenzi has created an extrait de parfum that is characterised by a particularly high concentration of fragrance oils and therefore offers a long-lasting presence on the skin. The olfactory experience begins with a striking top note in which deep ebony wood meets the bitter nuances of cocoa beans and malt. This powerful opening flows smoothly into a softer heart, which is dominated by the sweetish accords of vanilla, tonka bean and orchid. The base note provides a harmonious finish, combining creamy sandalwood with the gourmand facets of hazelnut and sugar. Balsamic benzoin rounds off the woody, aromatic profile and lends the composition a warming depth. Visually, the fragrance is presented in a characteristic black cuboid, which is enhanced by a beige plaque with the name and stylised logo. The balanced blend of spicy and sweet elements makes the perfume particularly suitable for the evening hours or the colder months of the year.
