The Self Tanning Self Tanning for Body from the Silky Bronze skincare range by Japanese luxury cosmetics brand SENSAI is a self-tanning gel that gives the skin a silky bronze colour. Even without sun exposure, you can achieve a light tan with regular use of this self-tanner. The pleasantly summery-smelling gel provides plenty of moisture. The SENSAI brand belongs to the Japanese cosmetics group Kanebo Cosmetics, whose long history dates back to 1887. The brand name means softness or elegance.

Self Tanning for Body by SENSAI - for an even, beautiful tan without sun rays

Before applying the self-tanner from the Silky Bronze skincare range, the skin must be prepared, ideally 24 hours before the treatment. This gives the skin enough time to recover. Exfoliate to ensure a clean skin surface and shave the areas to be tanned. All dry skin areas such as elbows, hands, knees and ankles should be moisturised immediately before application to prevent staining. Wear gloves when applying the self-tanner and massage the product in using circular movements. It is best to apply the self-tanner two to three times a week to achieve an even tan that lasts.

Before applying the self-tanner to your body, you should shave your skin the evening before and exfoliate it on the day of application. Once the rough patches and dead skin cells have been removed, the tan will look particularly even. Then treat the dry areas of skin on your elbows, heels, knees and hands with a light body lotion. Now you can continue with the self-tanner. Apply it from the legs in a circular motion towards the upper body. The circular movements distribute the self-tanner particularly evenly. If spots still appear, you can even out the result with another application the next day. You should wear self-tanning gloves during application to protect your hands and nails from discolouration.
