As part of the renowned Numbered Collection by Pierre Guillaume Paris, the Eau de Parfum Spray 16.1 Bois Naufragé is an artful olfactory interpretation of driftwood. Launched in 2010, the composition is dedicated to the overarching theme of figs (Theme N°16), but approaches it from an emphatically mineral and woody perspective. Inspired by the photograph "Nu au bois flotté" by Lucien Clergue, the fragrance captures the poetic image of an Egyptian fig tree moulded by the tides and the elements. In the opening, green mint and fine salt flower combine with the characteristic green notes of the fig tree to create an invigorating prelude. As the fragrance develops, a complex structure unfolds in which the cool minerality of salt crystals meets the subtle warmth of ambergris. A solid base of fractionated vetiver emphasises the striking driftwood character and lends the arrangement a long-lasting depth. This fragrance from the Woody Fougère category is characterised by its ability to develop individually on the skin and offers a multi-layered fragrance experience that combines raw naturalness with French perfumery.

In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
