Laura Biagiotti (1943 - 2017) was an Italian designer who actually wanted to become an archaeologist and got into fashion design through her mother, who was a dressmaker. Her own collections became world-famous for their fine cashmeres and other high-quality materials. She created her first perfume for women in 1982 with the fresh scent called "Fiori Bianchi di Laura" (Laura's White Flowers).
The company is now run by her daughter Lavinia.

... is a tribute to Laura Biagiotti's home city: Rome. The women's fragrance was released in 1988; the men's fragrance Roma Uomo was also released in 1994 as a fragrance series with an aftershave lotion. This men's fragrance is considered oriental and woody with a fresh top note of grapefruit and basil. The heart notes of moss and vanilla provide sensuality on a base note of cedar and sandalwood. Like the eternal city of Rome, this fragrance is intended to convey a sense of eternity. A man who wears Roma Uomo is considered reliable, sensitive, elegant and sensual. The After Shave Lotion not only cares for the skin after shaving, but also keeps this masculine fragrance on the skin all day long.
