The Dark Rebel Eau de Toilette Spray by John Varvatos was introduced in September 2015 and stands for the designer’s return to his hometown Detroit. John Varvatos wants to inspire men to show their rebellious side and to think outside of the box. The Eau de Toilette Spray is advertised with the slogan: "From Darkness Comes Light". The flaçon already says it all. The black glass flaçon reflects all light, and it is impossible to see its contents while the black leather bands that are tightly wrapped around the bottle also keep out any illumination.
Dark Rebel - hard, striking and yet complex
The scent includes a multitude of nuances from a visit to the pub that lasted perhaps a bit longer than it should have and still lingers on your clothes the next day. The top note is dominated by Jamaican rum supported by sugar cane, davana, cardamom and clary sage. The predominant element of the middle note is raw leather accompanied by pine resin, styrax benzoin and pepper. The base note is just as complex. Tobacco comes particularly to the fore along with Mexican vanilla, castoreum and Akigalawood plus additional wood notes and creeping juniper. This scent is excellent for autumn and winter and is less suitable for spring and summer due to its heavy and severe character.Description

Men's fragrances
In order for men's perfume to really come into its own, it is always sprayed very sparingly and directly onto the skin. The chosen fragrance is quickly released through body heat. If you use a spray bottle, the distance should be around 20 cm. The fine spray mist is not rubbed off and dries on the skin. As the spray mist rises from the bottom upwards, the skin is always perfumed from the bottom upwards. Ideally, the body should be prepared with an odourless body lotion before perfuming. The fragrances in the men's perfume will cling to the lipids in the lotion, ensuring a longer-lasting fragrance experience.
