Micelles are microscopically small, spherical structures made up of molecules that can mix with both water and oil. This is why micelle water can remove both water-soluble and oil-soluble residues of cosmetic products or dirt from the skin. The spherical micelles can trap dirt inside them. The advantage of facial care with micellar water is that it combines the function of several facial care products. Instead of requiring two steps for facial care, the application of a make-up remover and the application of a facial toner, micellar water can replace both steps with just one. Hej Organic develops skin care products without animal testing and relies on natural ingredients from plants and organic farming. Micellar Cleansing Water is fragrance-free and particularly suitable for skin care for combination, oily or blemished skin. A zinc salt (zinc PCA or zinc pyrrolidone carboxylic acid) in Hej Organic's Micellar Cleansing Water inhibits sebum production, ensures that the skin does not lose its moisture and can also refine pores. Hyaluronic acid also helps to increase the skin's moisture content. Natural sugar surfactants, such as the mild and very skin-friendly surfactant coco glucoside, contribute to micelle formation in this skincare product.

Micellar water can be used both in the morning and in the evening. While it removes excess sebum after waking up, it reliably removes make-up and accumulated dirt before going to bed. Soak a cotton pad with micellar water and gently wipe the pad over the entire face. If one pad is not enough to remove mascara and make-up, repeat the application. For waterproof make-up, you can leave the pad on your eyes or mouth for a few seconds and then pull it downwards. After cleansing, it is advisable to rinse off the micellar water briefly so that the ingredients cannot damage the skin barrier.
