'If you spend the summer on Sylt, it’s everywhere: in the fragrance of the lushly flowering wild roses, which are also known as rosa rugosa or Sylt roses. They flower on the Frisian parapets and dykes, in the villages and on the dunes – a feast for the eyes which fill the air with their smell in delicate pink and white, and were the basis for this fragrance. Keep Calm and Love Sylt Number 1 starts with young fruits, juicy mandarins, the vibrant citrus aroma of bergamot as well as the gentle tartness of blackcurrants, which lead into the floral heart of this fragrance: a sea of roses, embellished with the soft and at the same time sweet creaminess of jasmine and the crisp purity of lilies of the valley and lotus flowers, which lend it freshness and hint at the proximity of water. Musk and moss ensnare, pastel-green and as light as a feather, while notes of Chypre round off the fragrance masterfully, bringing its feminine radiance to the fore.
