The best skin care routine for stressed winter skin starts with the right cleanser. Look for gentle, lipid-replenishing products such as a mild wash gel or oil-based cleanser that removes dirt and dead skin cells without disrupting the skin’s moisture balance. Avoid harsh cleansers that contain alcohol, as they can dry out the skin and make it feel tight. In contrast, formulas with nourishing ingredients like hyaluronic acid, glycerine or natural oils are ideal as they moisturise and soothe the skin.
