Exfoliation plays an essential role in Clinique's 3-Step Skin Care System. Dead skin cells are removed using the appropriate cosmetics. Healthy cells then come to the surface, which are better able to cope with the challenging environmental influences. The skin care products also stimulate the cell renewal process with their formula. For the exfoliation of very dry to dry skin, the renowned brand recommends Clarifying Lotion 1, which has a particularly gentle formula.

The face and neck are treated twice a day with Clarifying Lotion 1. A small amount of the cosmetics is applied using a cotton pad after cleansing. To prevent sensitive skin from being stressed by the exfoliation process, the formula also contains caring active ingredients. Treatment with the lotion allows the ingredients of day creams or similar cosmetic products to penetrate deeper and be more effective. The components of the 3-Step Skin Care System build on each other and complement each other with their active ingredients. We therefore recommend combining with a suitable soap and a moisturiser.
