Traditional Korean skincare approaches can be found in this cleansing balm, which has been specially developed for gentle yet effective facial cleansing. The initially solid, sorbet-like texture of the Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm begins to melt on contact with the warmth of the skin and transforms into a smooth oil. This process allows make-up, sunscreen residue and everyday dirt to be thoroughly dissolved. The formula focuses on ingredients that are rooted in the Hanbang tradition, such as nutrient-rich rice bran water and various cereal extracts. Rice bran water was already valued in the Joseon dynasty and can support the appearance of the skin. The formulation is complemented by sea buckthorn oil and fermented soya extracts, which are known for not drying out the skin during cleansing. As artificial fragrances have been deliberately avoided, the product is odourless. Ideally, the balm should be applied to dry skin, massaged in and then rinsed off with lukewarm water. The vegan cleanser comes in a minimalist jar that impresses with its simple elegance and traditional lettering.

A cleansing cream is available from various manufacturers and comes in a jar, tube or bottle, depending on the manufacturer. It is easy to use and can be applied in the morning and evening. Apply an appropriate amount of cleansing cream directly to the entire face, previously moistened with water, using the palms of your hands. Avoid the eye area. Massage the cream into the skin to thoroughly remove make-up and dirt. After a short massage, wash the product off the skin with clear, lukewarm water and gently pat the face dry.
