The Ultimate Strength Hand Salve from Kiehl's has been developed for the special requirements of heavily stressed and very dry hands. The rich texture is quickly absorbed without leaving a greasy film and leaves the skin feeling supple. Its formula is based on a blend of selected ingredients such as avocado oil, sesame oil and a natural wax from olive oil. This composition is applied to the skin and forms a barrier known as the "glove effect". This effect can help to protect the skin from moisture loss, especially when exposed to manual labour or adverse weather conditions. The skin on the hands can feel smoother and softer.
