The L'Eau d'Issey pour Homme After Shave Balm from Issey Miyake is a composition for the skin after shaving. With its creamy, velvety texture, the balm is easy to apply and leaves the skin feeling smooth. The formulation contains Aquaexpert™ technology, which was developed for the uppermost layers of the skin and can contribute to a pleasant skin feeling. A subtle, fresh fragrance accompanies the application and reflects the character of L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme. Notes of vetiver, cedar and sandalwood combine with warm accents of ambergris, tobacco and musk to create a subtle aroma. The balm provides a pleasant cooling effect and turns daily shaving into a comfortable ritual. It is presented in a 100 ml bottle and can be used as a complement to the matching eau de toilette or on its own.

The use of an aftershave is explained by its name. The aftershave is applied directly after the daily shave. This prevents skin irritation and razor burn. The aftershave in the form of an aftershave lotion, gel or lotion is applied in small amounts to the palms of the hands. The skin areas should be slightly dried beforehand. Aftershave is liquid and should therefore ideally be patted into the face and neck areas. A thick gel or lotion should first be applied to the fingertips. Then gently massage the aftershave into the skin on the face and neck. The skin is supplied with plenty of moisture and is also disinfected.
