High-quality sapphire and corundum chips are firmly anchored to the steel body, creating a particularly durable and abrasion-resistant grinding surface. Two different grits on the front and back offer a wide range of applications for nail care: the coarse side is used for efficient shortening and pre-shaping of the nails, while the fine side is responsible for smooth finishing and neat reworking of the nail edges. Thanks to the curved shape, the file glides comfortably over the nail without exerting unwanted pressure on the nail bed. Another functional detail is the tapered tip, which can be used to clean the underside of the nail. The chrome-plated finish not only gives the accessory an elegant shine, but also ensures high corrosion resistance, which allows hygienic cleaning under running water. Nail files are available as sapphire, sandblade or glass files. They are easy to use. For a perfect manicure, you should always place the nail files horizontally on the nail and file in one direction without applying pressure. Then set down and repeat the process in the other direction. Avoid filing back and forth. This tears the callus material and makes the nail more vulnerable.
Polishing files are a speciality among nail files. These are used to give the nail surface a shine. Start with the coarser file and move it back and forth on the nail until the nail is smooth. Then remove the filing dust and work your way up to the finest file. Use this file until the nail squeaks and shines beautifully.
