Parfum Selva Do Brazil by Berdoues is a rich, botanical perfume from the wonderful Parfums Grands Crus. Selva means the forest - this is a dreamlike yet natural world all of its own. The rain in the forest cools and gently revitalises the skin. The extraordinary fragrance comes from the delicate selection of marvellous and exotic plants. Here, Paraguayan petitgrain, Brazilian tonka bean and Argentinian guaiac wood come together to create a perfect and refreshing fragrance.

I think this fragrance is wonderful. However, I don't smell a jungle (selva), but to me the perfume smells like a sun cream from my childhood days. An absolute summer fragrance for me. It also lasts quite a long time on me. I spray it on in the morning and I can still smell something in the evening, but I would say it hardly projects at all.
